CAPTURING LOVE, ONE BRUSHSTROKE AT A TIME
For over 25 years, I have dedicated my life to the canvas, exploring the intersection of light, emotion, and motion. My journey as an artist has taken me from the prestigious galleries of the Southeast to the grand theaters of luxury cruise lines like Oceania and Cunard, where I have had the honor of serving as a Resident Artist.
Whether I am painting a sunrise over the Mediterranean or a first dance in a wedding ballroom, my philosophy remains the same: capture the soul of the moment so it can be cherished for generations.
An Impressionist Approach
Unlike many modern event painters who rely on fast-drying acrylics, I remain a student of the French Impressionist Masters. I work exclusively in professional oils on museum-quality archival linen.
I believe that oil is the only medium capable of capturing the true "glow" of a wedding day. By layering rich textures and luminous glazes, I create a sculptural depth that feels alive—a masterpiece that changes as the light in your home shifts from morning to evening.
The Experience
Live painting is a performance as much as it is a process. My presence at an event is designed to be warm, engaging, and professional. I invite your guests to witness the "alchemy" of oil painting—from the first charcoal sketch to the final masterful strokes.
When the celebration ends, the journey continues in my Charlotte studio, where I meticulously refine, varnish, and frame each piece to ensure it meets the highest gallery standards before it enters your home.
Beyond the Easel
Based in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina, I am a proud member of the local arts community and a frequent traveler for worldwide commissions. When I am not at my easel, you can find me mentoring the next generation of creators or exploring the Queen City with my family.
